Sylvia Estes
Sylvia was saved when she was 17 years old at Trinity Baptist Church in Newnan, GA. She met her husband Larry while living in LaGrange in 1963 and they were married in 1967. They have two daughters Jennifer and Allison, and 5 beautiful grandchildren; Maigen, Grayson, and Macie Lambert, and Abbie McCollough and Connor Davis.
Sylvia and her husband Larry became members of Faith in July of 1989. She and Larry chartered the Awana Ministry at Faith in September 1989 and still serve as Awana commanders. Sylvia joined the staff, as a part time employee, in 1990. Her responsibilities include Secretary to the Pastor, Financial Administrator and Membership Records administrator. Sylvia says she is truly blessed to have the privilege to serve the Lord with the staff and membership of Faith Baptist Church. Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3 : 5 – 6.
