Sheila Allen
Sheila is one of those people who has been going to church since before she was born. Sheila was born in Atlanta, GA, and accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age while involved in the children’s ministry at People’s Baptist Church in Forest Park, GA. She moved to LaGrange when she was 9 and she graduated from LaGrange High School in 1983.
Sheila and her husband, Ryan, were married in 1991 and started attending Faith in 1996. They soon started working in the Awana program and stayed there for years before finally moving into the AfterShock ministry where they both currently serve as leaders. While they have no children, they do have one dog, Millie, a (not-so) miniature dachshund and loads of nieces and nephews!
Sheila joined the staff at Faith in 1999 on a temporary, part-time basis. That temporary job months later turned into a permanent job! Over the years her work has evolved to cover a wide range of responsibilities. Sheila’s biggest responsibilities tend to be “event” oriented, including Camp Truth (summer camp for children), our Easter Play (Worthy Is The Lamb) and now especially ticket sales for Judgment Journey. Music is extremely important to Sheila and plays a big role in her life and for that reason she is very involved with the choir as well as singing with several ensemble groups.
