Pastor Freeman received a call to pastor Faith Baptist Church on July 5, 2009 and has been the Senior Pastor since that time. Born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, he and his wife Cindy were married on September 10, 1978 and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. It was in Charlotte on the second Sunday of October 1978 Pastor Bruce was saved and called to preach the Gospel. In the fall of 1979, he and Cindy moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he earned a Bachelor of Theology degree from Piedmont Baptist College. While living in Winston-Salem, he and Cindy attended Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, North Carolina where he was later ordained.

In 1983 he organized Peace Haven Baptist Church in Yadkinville, North Carolina and served as its pastor for 25 ½ years. The ministry there saw tremendous growth spiritually and numerically, and then God moved him to LaGrange, Georgia where he now leads the congregation of Faith Baptist Church.

Pastor Freeman and Ms. Cindy have two daughters, the oldest Marsha is married to Josh Thompson and they reside in Kernersville, North Carolina. Their youngest daughter, Mandy, resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Pastor Bruce is an avid baseball fan pulling for his beloved St. Louis Cardinals, in college basketball an avid fan of the North Carolina Tarheels and in pro football he pulls for the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoys playing golf, fishing and reading in his spare time. Pastor Freeman is passionate about preaching the Word and winning souls. He continues to do revival meetings and enjoys helping other churches, speaking in jubilees, camp meetings and other special conferences.
